selling the 406!!

Well, trying to at least.  I just put this up on a few forums a few days ago, figure'd i'd try and throw it up here maybe one of you guys has a use for it.  people only seem to be interested in the pullies and how i got 14.8mpg on my minnesota trip. haha.

im starting at 4500 for it, completely turn key.  Starter, alternator, p/s, water pump, all pullies, carb, AN carb hose, valve covers, air cleaner, HEI, wires, plugs, ect.   but if its one of you guys personally, i will feel more comfortable dropping the price a bit.  im willing to drive within 150 miles of eastern nebraska, more if the price is right.

Hey ladies and gents. I know, I'm a new guy, but I'm throwing this up in hopes of some interest in my 406. There is absolutly nothing wrong with this motor, I just got bit by the "go fast bug", and im in the planning stages for a turbo build and this motor is not a good platform for what im wanting for power. Theres about 4000 miles. I have around $5300 in parts for this motor. Starting at 4500 + shipping. We can arrange a delivery or meet up somewhere if your within the eastern Nebraska area by 100 miles or so.

.030 509 block, deck plugs, decked.
polished, balanced 400 crank, resized rods, (machine work was all done by CNC motorsports.)
-22 K/B hypers
1600 bucks in a set of vortecs  (cant find the facepalm smiley)
C/C beehive valvesprings, S/S valves from competition products
XE274 cam, magnum pushrods
Cloyes double roller timing set
cast timing cover
professional products hidden weight balancer
moroso pan
melling select pump
edelbrock performer intake
heat shield installed
750 V/S holley
HEI, petronix internals.
aluminum pullies.
ARP everywhere.

I'm sure im missing something here, but the motor is still in the pickup if you want to hear it. In my 3800 lb brick, i averaged 14.8mpg @ 80mph on a 1000 mile trip and back to minnesota last year. It has never had a heating issue, oil always changed every few months. Just a worry free fun motor. This will be sold as a turn key motor.

Heres the brick that it pushes.

I can get more recent pictures if you would like.
Also, Im willing to trade for LS stuff.

Thanks for looking!
