1999 Buick Regal LS

Dad gave me his Buick. When drove car home ran bad had no power. Car been sitting for while. Stop fill up with good gas. Still did not help situation. Saturday and Sunday look over car. Sunday night sprayed cleaner in intake. Monday had neighbor follow me to garage. Car ran great and have all power back. Car would melt tires at stop light. Garage said their clueless. Unless injectors were sticking. Anyone have thought on this. My concern getting stuck somewhere.

I am assuming you have a Buick v6 3800 ? If it sat for a bit. Maybe something gummed up. The fresh gas may have also made its way to the motor now. Is it still working good? Or is it gone back bad?

Might change the fuel filter also and run some SeaFoam or other carb cleaner thru it. The bad gas can cause problems

Fuel filter was plug. Needed coil pack and ignition module. Car also needs rear trailing arms , rack pinion and plastic radiator leaking where fitting for transmission lines go in. Car itself is clean rust free body. Dad put new tires , battery , alternator , belts also had all new front end parts put on last year. Few years back was new engine put in. I quess worth spend money get car inspected. Total bill was $1700 , got car for free.

If you put 10 gallons of good gas into 5 gallons of bad gas, you now have 15 gallons of bad gas.
