RPM Drop When Put In Gear

1000 rpm to 500/600 when put in drive. Car will stall. I understand if hooked up to full manifold vacuum will do this. Cause of vacuum drop. So question is ported or full manifold vacuum Holley 750 VC. Ported can get car idle nice in gear and pull hard. Total timing 38*. hooked up vacuum advance and initial 16*

It should drop to around 800 or so in gear. But not down to 500 and then stall?
I also hook my vacuum advanced to the carb. But I have it on a full time port. Not a part time port.

Change springs cleaned up. Good go , 800 rpm in gear 1000 rpm park. Checked plugs were fantastic. Need run some Sunoco 100 in it and go out beat on it. Runs little rough. I don't think Comp XE 268 cam would do it being on mild side.
