Sales

So I hit a hidden tree stump with my push mower and bent the blade and the crank! Vibrated so bad that the carb fell off as I at least tried to finish the yard...lol..went by a garage sale and found a nice Toro self propelled cheap!  My kind of sale!.. On the way home saw another yard sale for tools..yep. Couldn't resist..some incredible deals..belt sander for $2.. Assorted metal shelving for $1 each...unfortunately my truck would not hold much more...I looked like Fred Sanford driving home!.. Lol..a very productive day for sure!

My friend has a pretty simple jig to straighten those cranks without dismantling the engine. But, nice lawn mowers are cheap/free. Everytime I pick the city dump iron pile there are several. Some have a broken zone cable or pull rope, most just need the fuel system cleaned up.

Struck up a friendship with the guy I bought the new mower from..He said he could straighten the crank  and sell me a new blade,  but sadly the cost of doing this is almost as much as I paid for the new mower!  And this one is self propelled unlike the old one!biggrin
