Can't wait!

I have a fellow who's holding one of these for me until I get moved...Can't hardly wait to get started on it!...96 Mustang....gotta replace front left fender, but other than that it looks and runs pretty good....of course I'll be adding a few things to it!...lolimages.jpg This isn't it, but gives you an idea of what it looks like. I've had 2 other Stangs and loved them both.

4.6 ? A cousin of mine got that style mustang the first year they came out and they had the 4.6 instead of the more known and more disired 5,0 and man was he disappointed. Did not like it at all.

Don't know about your cousin's 4.6, but I've seen some real runners!

Yeah for sure. But you know when something new comes out.there's no aftermarket support just yet. People do know what to think and all that. They like what they know and dislike what they don't understand.

Keep you posted.

Trucks are fun to build!! I find its more expensive then building a car though.
Let us know what you find.

I'm hoping to find a truck that has most parts on it and I believe it will be an easier build...nothing wastes more time than running down missing parts on something old! I'm gonna go check out a 58 Chevy I saw sitting next to a barn yesterday on my travels...GF says " how do you see these things all the time?"...lol..cause I'm always looking!

And some of the best cars and trucks are sitting right there in plain view, but most miss them!

There used to be a lot of classics for sale in Pittsburg. They bring them out when there is a major event going on at Mokan Dragway.

When I was 1st looking for 1 55 Chevy to build, I followed up on several leads. I would hunt them down, and talk to the owner. Not a single one, would sell. They would say,its worth a lot of money,Im gonna wait, mean while its sitting there wasteing away. Id get soo mad ,inside, and just drive away. The one I ended up with ,was from a local business man. Said he wouldnt sell it, but had heard of me,and sold it to me for $500.00.. It was a rusted out hulk. No floors, all glass  gone except for cracked wind sheld, full of scrap metal, had been used for a catch all, It did have a froze up rear end,I ended up using a Camaro rear end any way.
