Making power is not air flow through the heads. But cash flow through the wallet!
How fast can you afford to go.

Lets call that car redbull cause its gonna need wings. I like the sound of a good running dodge motor they have that scram about them that is unmistakable. When you go down the track people will be wondering what got under the hood

Got lots done today engine is in looks like the under chassis headers are not going to work the mini starter is right in the way. well on to Dave M Amaral-Jr Idea up sweep headers exiting in the front fenders just before the tire so I bought a pipe bender going with 2 1/8" with 4' collector hand built headers by me.

new header exit location I have half the passenger side done bought myself a nice 12 ton tubing bender and on the brite side the headers are going to be bigger tubes 2 1/8 primary 4" collector. ps can't get the smell of argon out of my nose so much to adapt and modify to make a BB Chrysler fit in a foxbody I won't recommend it to some one that isn't driven lol.

so I made some nice looking headers that don't fit lol I do not no the word quit so what do I do watch videos read articles and order new flanges,collectors,u-bends and some tubing and start all over this will be the 3rd attempt parts sould be here by the weekend the bender will get a lot of use on the bright side all this practice is making me a much better welder.  I'm thinking of using a few slip joints to be able to remove headers with engine in.

below is my 2nd attempt looked pretty but didn't fit

Feeling your pain buddy!..How about just tack welding them until get them perfect? I know the final weld will be harder to do, but it might save you a bit of time and aggravation! On a brighter note, the car is looking fantastic  and I'll bet you can't wait for that 1st run!

1 header down 1 to go best part is they can be installed and removed without unbolting anything on the engine they are 2" primary to 2 1/8" pipes from slip joints back to a 4" collector me and my son also scored a factory spoiler for $35 and a pc of trim @ the local junk yard.  it was my sons project Saturday to clean up the spoiler and trim pc and give a coat of red he did a great job for 16 yr old.   Best of all it fits this time they are big the collectors a 12" long the longest tube is at lest 3' or more from flange to collector.
