Well scored a 9.5 inch 14 bolt out of a 1500 H.D. for 150$ . Will need to swap gears and add a LSD . But good find besides that. Will post pics when I tear in to it.

What did the 14bolt come out of, Is it the same width? That will make a nice strong rear end for your truck.

That's one thing that I hate worrying about is overheating. Of course there's  the other one running out of gas haha.

Yep, nothing like pulling up to  where a bunch of people are and spewing antifreeze everywhere!..lol.....as for the running out of gas, I plead the 5th!

88 i would take that rad to a shop and have the tank takin off on the cap side it looks like its been leakin on that side whar the tube goes in to the header plate they can clean it up an resolder the tubes and they should rod it out and flush it out this should help keep her cool for a very long time................BEAR

Good idea. I will take it in for them to have a look. The rad was full of antifreeze when we took it out. So I don't think it leaked.
but maybe under pressure it does ?

What Bear said is a good idea.Take any radiator to an experienced shop before installing, just as a precaution. Found myself in the same situation a few times with the 37...spewing antifreeze everywhere while pulling up to a parking spot! Embarrassing!..Cured most of mine by a redone rad..went to a 3 core per the shops specs...But the main problem was the lack of a fan shroud!. Installed one and never had to worry again!
