1972 Chevrolet Corvette Funny Car 327 Automatic

The Fire Shark Corvette funny car was campaigned in the NHRA’s BB/FC class from 1972 to 1975. The 100-inch-wheelbase flopper was based on a tube chassis built by drag racing legends Larry Sikora and the late Chuck Finders of Finders Fabrication, and is powered by a supercharged, Hilborn-injected 327 CI Chevrolet small block engine. It is in unrestored condition and is entirely original, not having been fired since its retirement in 1975. The Fire Shark funny car is a wonderful piece of drag racing history that qualifies for Nostalgia Drag Race competition.
