How do u prep and paint a fiberglass body?

Sweet article, what about if im repainting? do I just sand and fill where needed and then paint?

That's pretty much it. If the layer is not into the fiberglass, you just prepar the surface the same as you would metal.

Some fiberglass has a needed glaze coat over it. If painted over without the fiberglass protected, there can be a major delamination/fish eye problem. We have always had good luck just using filler over the repair area, cover with a skim coat of glaze filler, then prime. after primer, make sure you use a good sealer to block in anything that would make a problem.

Are some of the Panels on them Fiero's Plastic ? I worked with this Big Guy Years back who had one of the early ones with a 4cyl .
