Well the thing with a jack shaft is you can gear it for less RPM,s for higher speed or vs versa.

After taken a well needed Break from this Bike Build . I am going to start back on it . The Frame is Hanging in My Basement waiting to get Built up Ha-biggrin I think I came up with an Idea that will shim My Engine over Enough so I won't Need the Jack Shaft set up .

I had noticed earlier that you reinforced the frame tubes, where you welded your engine bracket. Was wondering if you were burning thru or that was considered right at the beginning? I know the tubes are fairly light weight. My friend never reinforced his frames. But he was cutting them, and welding in a dropped plate platform. But looks nice. I have been waiting to see see some activity on your bike. Now you have my attention .LOL

I used a Mig Welder and the frame is a fairly thick gauge tubing . Now the square stock that I used was a bit Larger in size so I decided to contour it to the Bike Frame with a few angle plates that also made those sections stronger . I don't foresee having any problems with that Engine mount . Now the pedal crank will be a challenge . But I think that to can be resolved .

Oh I can see it was migged. You do a good job. I use a small Lincoln Mig. Typically use Argon, But some are using C02 for cost I guess. I dont like it, so went back to Argon.. No LOL your not gonna have any problems with that mtr support. I think it would hold a Mtr Cycle mtr no prob,if you could fit it in there :) What,do you expect with the bell crank (pedal)? You think its gonna be hitting your engine?

I think on the Right Side it will . But not sure till I mount up that Engine on the Spacer Plate . I am thinking about using a Shorter Crank throw and if Need be widening it some .

I had to get a special bell crank ,when I built my Schwinn Whizzer,as the stock crank was hitting it on the left side. Soo I know they sell them. I got mine from Whizzer at the time. But wonder if Ebay might be worth while taking a look.?

Thank you Mokan . I might start out with this Type here then if I need to cut it and add a Section of round bar stock I can do that easier then the other Type .
