I have road My dads Mini Bike with that 6 H.P Engine on it . It pull good right out the Hole and motors up to around 40 MPH then the Governor kicks in around 3200 . I think I could tweak it a bit to pull about 4800 it sure would MPH more then . One bad thing is his Mini Bike only has a small rear disc Brake . It really does not stop that well . I built an older Mini bike that My brother has . It has a 5 H.P with no Governor on it and I remember it stopped better too . I use to run around the Horse trails with it when I was in My early 20's . That Joker would crank out about 40 MPH as well . I am Looking on My Local Craigs List weekly for a Mini Bike and I know were I can get a 5 H.P Honda Engine to run on it . I will take on Dads when I get that Joker Dialed in Ha-Ha

I stopped there on Thursday the owner said Like before he had to have one of the workers bring the part to his house to use a Lathe to open it up 100 th's . And he said because of the storm / Power outage He did not do it yet . Ok I told him I will stop back next Friday . Hope it's done then . If not I will ask for it back and go buy a Big azz 1 1/2" Drill bit and do it Myself . Always the Machine Shop Dance around never fails for Me ? Maybe that's why I do as much as I can at home . I tried a Few hones but they were only take off a very small amount in a Long run time .

I know you have a few irons in the fire, have you stopped all work on the bike for now? Did you ever get your parts back from the machine shop?

I am working on My Mini Bike right now in My Basement moving along well way to Hot out to do any work outside . All week I was killing myself Fixing Truck outside . As for My Motorized Bike ? I went to the Machine shop Last Friday . The owner call the Guy who has the Part . He said it would be at his Shop Tuesday . I did not go back to check on it . I will next week it's kinda a free labor Deal because I worked a Deal on a Few Engine cores and some cash + the Machine work to that Part . If I could do it over I would have Bought a 1 1/2" Drill Bit and done it Myself . Sure I can't wait to build that Bike because I can drive it on the Street . But it has to be done right with Lots of custom mods made . And with the gearing Like it is . It will be able to run at a fairly high rate of speed .

geezer you can build one of these . First Finds a 26" Frame if you find a good Frame and pick up an Engine . I will set up the Rear wheel for you so you can bolt it right on . Now to Me this is the best 4 stroke Engine to run per-Quality Cost and size . And it's an OHV Engine 3 H.P . Later I may upgrade to this one as well . Problem is there on Back order all the time ? And even when on a Regular sale you can still use the 20% off Coupon . Now that My Mini Bike is running . I am itching to get back on this Bike Build .

I did some work on the Bike today . I cut the Engine Mounting Brace Leveled it then made the correct angles and notched it out . That Brace will be Fitted inside of the Frame . I only overlapped it to make the marks were to cut it . I Was getting ready to weld it up then the Weather got bad Real Quick . I want to get this Frame done so I can move along on this Build . Then I can do the rest of the Build in the Basement .

I am think it should ride fairly Level for the most part . And it's kinda set up Like the Mini Bikes are I have a Fuel Tank that Mounts on the Top Bar . I was ready to start Welding and that darn weather stopped me . I am a Bit Tired from Last weeks work at the Job . But maybe after a nap I will build up that Back Wheel ?

I know if you just take off the arm it will unscrew the axle if you pedal backwards . You have to install a washer the right thickness so when you pedal backwards the Locking cones won't engage .

To Me I would be happy to do away with the crank and Pedals . But that's a must have item to be a Legal Motorized Bike . I am over on the cc's but you can no Longer tell that by any Engine markings .
