Rust prevention after stripping

I am in early stages of a resoration (1964 chevy).  I am ready to strip all paint so I can clearly find all rust that needs tending to.  What can I use while stripped until I am completed with all of the body work. I expect it to take months to complete bodywork and I don't want to primer now to cause double work later when it is time to primer it correctly after all body work is complete.

its expensive, but it works great.

Either something of this sort, or if you plan on getting it blasted, try soda blasting. you can leave it unprotected for 3-6 months after soda blasting. then when you are ready for primer, simply wash the car down, blow it off real good, and then prime.
