425 olds ?

I have a chance at getting a 1967 oldsmobile 88 425 motor and long 400 tranny . It's in a rusted out car but starts and runs good . has just over 100ths on it . I am wondering can I run it with gas station fuel with it's high octane demands . And what motor mounts will fit a 67 a body gm cutlass ?

Yes that's a good Engine better Bore and Stroke then a 455 . But it's meant to run on Leaded Premium Fuel the Heads do not have hardened seats . The Factory 400 Mount that were used on the 442's will work .

I have it bolted in used my glide for now . And I was able to hook up my 330 exh system to it . I did nothing to the 425 but change the oil and tune it up . It sounds good but I have a transmission line leaking so I have to fix that before I take it out .
