73 318 hp build

I want to add around 150 horsepower to a stock 318 without having to spend too much money and I want to replace as few components as possible.  Someone please give me some input on what I should do.  Also, how much HP will a 600 cfm carb, intake and mild cam add to a stock 1973 2 bbl 318?

Sorry I have not Posted back sooner . I did some H.P # checking with a Few Different Grinds . With this Comp Cam http://www.compcams.com/Cam_Specs/CamDetails.aspx?csid=635&sb=0 and a Edelbrock Performer intake with a Performer 600 CFM Carb with 1-5/8" Headers you could make 321 H.P with 371.5 Ft-lbs of Torque . Also other Camshaft makers grind that cam for a Cheaper Price . I have used it in the Past in a Few SB Chevy's . It may be best to also Replace your stock Valve spring with a Matching set for that Camshaft . Not Sure what Car Trans or Rear Gear this Engine is in . But being a 1973 with about 8.5.1 C/R and I am Thinking this is a Street Car . That Camshaft is about Max . With a Bump in Compression you could up the Cam and H.P .ALL and ALL that's a Heather Engine then I thought it would be . Some of them 318 Mopar's are Little Power House's .

Thats not bad for 318ci . My car is a 73 Dodge Dart with a stock 904 transmission and 355 sure grip 8 3/4 . I was reading at another forum about some 80s 318 heads that flow more power . If i am going to pull the heads . I might go with a different set . I cant afford new performance heads . But maybe have a set of used heads rebuilt .
