I have to put some paint on it next . I am thinking it should be almost as powerful as my 355 in the Monte Carlo but more street-able . I did just a bit of port work on them heads and that camshaft is kinda a custom grind Pistons are advertised as 11.1 but more Like 10.5 if zero decked in a slandered Bore 327 with 64cc heads . Those Double Hump Heads actually came off that same Block . That was a 1969 350 300 H.P Engine that many years ago got it's Crank and Rods taken for a Corvette #matching Block build .

After Masking and Painting it . I will bolt on the Flex Plate and Engine Mounts . Then install it on My Test stand and bolt on the other parts Fuel ign and cooling system's . Going to break in the camshaft and rings and run it a few times to make sure everything is just right . Sure I will make a few video's Like the other Engines . Next Spring I want to try it out in real time on the Street in My 1983 Monte Carlo . That car is not to Heavy now I gutted a Lot of stuff out of it . I would say 3300-3400 lbs . I want to try out the Engine that's in the car now first . But I have different Heads for that 355 and a Different camshaft . And I have another Build just one step away that I might work on in just a few weeks . I have no Problem saying 327's are down on torque out the Hole . But very soon after that they Turn on to me Like no other SB does . As for My Truck Ha-Ha it's getting Kinda Rusty I really should be Looking for My next Hot Rod Pick up . I have a 350 for it already .

Here is the Last Time not to Long ago that I used My Test Stand . This is the 305 that is in My Truck now . I had that Test Stand Dialed in real good that Engine could run for as Long as the Fuel tank was full and ran Cooler then it does in My Truck now .

Here it is with the Slip on Mufflers installed . I can take them on or off with one bolt and wing nut . This Way I can run it as Long as Needed with no complaints .

I like them 327. proly my all time favorite engine. Tango and the party look good together Bout ready to bolt. Street rod, they are still hard to beat. I can not think of a better construction of the block.
